Research Interests

His research is focused on the intelligent robot, include medical robotics, bionic mechanism and control, special service robotics and other fields. He had undertaken National Natural Science Foundation, the National High Technology Research and Development Program, the state support program and other items. A large number of groundbreaking researches have been carried on surgical robot system design and positioning navigation, multi degree of freedom bionic robot mechanism and control, robot coupling optimization control, robot autonomous operation and other fields in special environment. He published more than 60 paper, SCI/EI contains more than 60 articles, 25patents for inventions.

Academic Achievements

In the aspect of puncture and diagnosis of robots, the theory and method of precise navigation of magnetic locator for soft tissue without frame positioning puncture was put forward, and the liver ablation robot system has been achieved .The mechanism and method of robot automatic tracking theory and operation transparency based on respiration motion compensation and soft tissue deformation modeling was put forward, which provide the necessary theoretical basis and technical support for robot-assisted surgery for soft tissue.
A new surgical robotic system for craniomaxillofacial surgery was proposed and established, including the preoperative design, intraoperative navigation, postoperative evaluation and virtual training.
